ECTRA Ride Managers – List of Things to do FIRST

Most of these things should be done AT LEAST 3-4 months before your ride date. Some have deadlines, for instance, sanctioning forms MUST be submitted to ECTRA 2 months before your ride date.

1) Locate ride area, camping area and trails. Make necessary reservations.

2) Contact Vet Judge and Lay Judge.

3) Send in Sanctioning forms

4) Arrange for any necessary additional insurance.

5) Plan meetings, dates, groups, times, locations.

6) Make a separate table to keep track of volunteers – see our other lists for suggestions.
