Annual Report - Tenure Review Board - 2003-4 There were no requests for tenure reviews this year. However, the Tenure Review Board (TRB) met twice during the spring semester of 2004 to consider clarification its role in the tenure process. In consultation with CAPT, several revisions of the section of the Faculty Handbook on "Review of Negative Tenure Decisions" (page 121-2) were introduced to the faculty in March and were passed by that group on April 2, 2004. The key phrase around which the revisions center is "inadequate consideration." The operating code of the TRB is now being rewritten to bring it into line with the revised Handbook language.
