Why did you choose Skidmore?

The art department is phenomenal—there is all of the intensity and strength of an art school, only in the larger context of a liberal arts college, which expands young artists as people and helps inform our work.

What do you love about Skidmore?

The sense of community within and across disciplines, both academically and socially. Skidmore is driven in large part by student initiative. As critical thinking and empowerment are at the forefront of everyone’s educational experience, we tend to be proactive, organizing around efforts as large as nationally-linked fundraisers, down to drum circles. We very much feel that we can do just about anything.
