Major and Minor Requirements
Students who wish to earn a degree in chemistry
may choose to major in chemistry or in
chemistry with biochemistry concentration.
Certification of the degree by the American
Chemical Society is also available. Please consult with your
advisor or the Chair for more information.
A minor in chemistry
is available for students who wish to supplement a degree in another
field with a concentration in chemistry.
The Chemistry Major
The major consists of the following elements

*-Additional units of CH 371 and CH 372 can
be counted as 300-level electives.
Students planning to pursue graduate work should
