Philosophy and ReligionPH103 A study of some of the basic questions of philosophy such as: the nature of the self and one's relation to others, the value and meaning of existence, the status and extent of knowledge, and the nature of reality. Selections from both classical and contemporary authors are read and discussed. The Honors course will enable students to pursue further, and in a more challenging setting, specific issues or problems that arise in all sections of PH103. All students enrolled in PH103 are eligible to enroll in the Honors add-on (HF100 section 1).
