Professor Standish received his Ph.D. from SUNY/Binghampton in low temperature physics in 1978. He has been a part of the Skidmore faculty since 1983, teaching Physical Science, General Physics, Astronomy, Light and Color, Nuclear Physics, Modern Physics, Electricity and Magnetism, and a Liberal Studies course in radiation and society. His research interests include high temperature superconductivity and hydrogen in metals.
