| Skidmore
parents can help Skidmore students realize their career potential.
Skidmore
parents, working cooperatively, can pool their resources and help
Skidmore students and alumni understand and access the broadest
possible array of opportunities. Parents are strongly encouraged
to join the Career Network to share the career/ industry knowledge
which they possess with the sons/daughters of other Skidmore parents!
By
joining the Career Network and becoming "Career Advisors"
Skidmore parents can help in any or all of the following ways:
- conducting
informational interviews with students/alumni
- hosting a
job shadower for a day or two over a break period
- sharing internship
or job leads with Career Services
- participating
in regional or campus programs
- holding an
employer information session on campus and collecting resumes
Here's
how to volunteer to help:
Thanks
so much for your interest in working together with other Skidmore
parents to open doors for Skidmore students!
