Post your resume

Students and alumni are encouraged to place their resume on CareerLink, official job listing and resume database for Skidmore College.  Other web sites like Monster.com also offer space for you to post your resume when you register with them. These services are free and they make your resume searchable by employers.

Many job sites also have job openings search engines. You can use them to find jobs in your field in many parts of the country. Some job posting sites even allow you to send your resume directly to them from its storage space.

To start, simply go to one of these sites, register and then submit your resume.   In most cases, this is simple to do.  You will need to copy and paste from your word processing file to the online resume form.

It is important to keep track of where you have posted your resume so you can update it!
