Scan
Traditionally portfolios were tools for artists who made slides of their artwork which were sent to various galleries and/or design schools. Slowly, this is changing and web portfolio publishing is becoming more common for job seekers in many industries. In order to put your credentials on the web, artwork must be photographed as it would be photographed for slides. Then the photos must be scanned into a computer using a high resolution scanner. Print resources can be converted into html by your word processor or web authoring software.
Skidmore Media Services has several scanners and any student can make an appointment to scan in his/her work. Another way to get your film on the web is directly through your photofinisher. Ask you photofinisher about scanning your photos for the web. To read more about Photo Developer's web services, go to Kodak Film Publishing.
