Description:
Northeast Health is composed of The Eddy, Albany Memorial Hospital,
and Samaritan Hospital. The Eddy provides comprehensive healthcare
services to nearly 16,000 individuals throughout the Capital Region.
The Eddy is offering a position through their Pattison Internship
Program. The Eddy recognizes long-term healthcare as a field of
continuous growth for the future. The internship shall be a minimum
of eight weeks in length, not to exceed one semester. The student
is required to work between 20-40 hours per week for a total of
200 hours.
Qualifications:
Interns need to be a graduate student or undergraduate senior who
is pursuing a degree related to the field of long-term care.
Compensation:
$1,750 stipend.

Description:
Claremont Unified is looking for students who would like to intern
as counselors-in-training providing counseling to students. You
might lead groups at the junior high school or meet with students
individually at the junior high or high school. You would also be
required to attend an hour of supervision a week to discuss your
cases.

Description:
Variety of Summer Camp positions (Camp Fire Boys and Girls, Central
Puget Sound Council). Participants receive salary/stipend, room
and board; participants work outdoors on Sealth's 400 wooded acres
and 1.5 miles of Puget Sound beachfront. As a college intern, you'll
be on the Sealth staff and have the responsibilities that accompany
a staff position. You will also have the unique opportunity to observe
experienced staff, learn a lot about outdoor residential camp and
your specific role, while getting experience doing something you
love (adventure travel, waterfront activities, horseback riding,
archery, low ropes challenge course, sailing, and nature)!

Description:
The Society is engaged in patient services, research, education,
and fund raising. Volunteer opportunities are available with flexible
hours and projects may be open-ended or time-specific. Typically,
volunteers work on: resource, information and guidance (RIG) at
the ACS office; public education on health issues like tobacco and
nutrition, e.g. the Great American Smokeout; or fund raising special
events like Daffodil Days or Relay for Life. Currently a position
is open for Information Delivery Volunteer whose duty is to assess
specific education or service needs of the patient caller and professionals.
Qualifications:
Willingness to help others in need. Must be comfortable with phone
work, research and assessment.

Description:
The Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) is a residential program for
sophomore and junior undergraduate college students interested in
health careers. This tuition-free four week program includes enrichment
classes to improve students' academic skills and knowledge in the
basic sciences, through seminars and lectures. Participants also
interact daily with medical students, scientists, physicians, and
other health care professionals.
Qualifications:
The SEP mission is to increase the number of under-represented students
in the health professions, including students of economically disadvantaged
backgrounds, first generation college students or under-represented
minorities in medicine, nursing, and biomedical sciences. Students
from MA or attending college in MA preferred.
Compensation:
