CAS Petition Guidelines
for below 3.0 GPA
For applicants to Skidmore in Madrid, Skidmore
in Alcalá, and Skidmore in Paris programs:
Applicants who do not meet the required
3.0 GPA to participate must be approved by the Spanish language
section or the French Language section of the Foreign Languages
and Literatures Department or the Beijing Steering Committee.
Students must:
- Submit a letter explaining their academic
history.
- Meet with the appropriate Office of International
Programs Program Coordinator to review their application.
The letter must be submitted to the Office
of International Programs with their completed application to
study abroad. The Office of International Programs presents these
materials to the appropriate language section or committee. Students
will be notified by the Office of International Programs on the
outcome of the petition.
