Rent Videos

Instructors often use videos as subject matter or supplementary material in on-line and classroom courses. If you need to find a film, here are some places to look online:

Facets is a great resource for rare, avant-garde, and international films available on DVD, VHS, laser-disk, books, and CD-ROM.

NetFlix allows you to rent three DVDs at a time, without late fees. When you return the movies you’ve viewed, the next choices on your list will be mailed to you.

VideoLibrary, formerly called Home Film Festival, rents films on DVD and VHS by mail.

Wild and Wooly sells cult, horror, classic, and foreign films that are either too rare or too strange for the average video store.

If you are local to Saratoga Springs, enrolled students can rent films on DVD or VHS from Skidmore’s Scribner Library free of charge.
