Admissions Decision Information: The Admissions Office mailed decisions to applicants with U.S. mailing addresses on Wednesday, March 22. Applicants with non-U.S. mailing addresses will receive their decisions via e-mail on Friday, March 24.

Discovery Tour

April 5–7, 2017 

If you have received your acceptance letter to Skidmore College, congratulations!! If not, your acceptance packet is on its way and you'll have it soon! 

We invite you to participate in our Discovery Tour for students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds.

Discovery Tour, which showcases academics, student life, and interculturalism, begins Wednesday, April 5, and ends on Friday, April 7. Please note that all travel arrangements and costs will be taken care of by the Admissions Office if you contact us in advance. 

As a participant in this tour, you will:

  • Attend a class and a faculty reception 
  • Spend two nights in a residence hall with a current student
  • Tour our campus and the city of Saratoga Springs
  • Meet student leaders, faculty, and staff
  • Interact with a student panel about campus intercultural life
  • Enjoy a social gathering with food, music, dancing, and entertainment

+ NOTE: If you plan your own travel, please plan to arrive no later than 5pm on Wed. April 5. We assume you will stay for the entire Tour unless you make other arrangements with Dean Mendes (dmendes@skidmore.edu).
* FAA regulations require that tickets be purchased with the exact name as listed on the official ID which will be presented at the time of the flight.

If you are unable to attend this program, but are interested in visiting Skidmore, we encourage you to join us for one of the Accepted Candidate Days scheduled by Admissions.
