Dear Classmates,

I am so happy I was able to visit Skidmore in June; our 35th Reunion Committee worked hard to come up with fun events and I know we all enjoyed reconnecting with old friends and getting to know other classmates. A number of us walked around the old campus and tried to remember which house had been which classroom building–it isn't all that easy anymore–but it was a nice walk down memory lane.

It is great to know that Liz, Carol, and Terry still have it (I play their CD often)! They put on a fabulous show at our class dinner in Moore Hall's dining room. Dave Marcell hosted a wonderful cocktail party and several faculty members attended and visited with us. And if you haven't read our class history, I encourage you to do so and consider sending in your own information for our next one.

For the past thirty-five years I have been proud of my time at Skidmore and thankful for every part of the experience, the good and the bad, the exciting and the routine. I had wonderful professors, and even when I didn't agree with them, I learned from them. I admired my classmates and proved to myself that I had the ability to be part of a group of strong, dynamic, and intelligent women, fully capable of becoming anything we wanted to be. Skidmore opened many doors for me and I want to provide the same high quality opportunities for the next generation.

Once again, I am asking you to make an annual gift to Skidmore. Attracting the best, brightest and most creative students is a goal Skidmore embraces mightily. Our dollars help the institution in so many ways: from the mundane–think light bulbs, to the meaningful–think scholarship aid for outstanding students who don't have the resources to attend on their own. Gifts of all sizes matter and our continued support and confidence in the College that nurtured us is absolutely critical to Skidmore’s continued success.
