Dear Classmates,

It’s hard to believe that in just three short months we will gather again on Skidmore’s campus to celebrate our 30th Reunion. We hope you are making your plans to come back and join us; it will be a wonderful weekend. There is a lot of activity on campus—the new student apartments in the North Woods are nearing completion, Murray and Aikins dining halls are getting much needed face-lifts, and the sports facility boasts a brand new Athletics Hall of Fame. Our Reunion will be filled with memories of the past, and a view of Skidmore’s future. We all play a part in Skidmore’s continued success through our gifts to support the Class of 1976 fundraising effort. Our class has already raised more than $70,000 towards our $100,000 goal. That’s fantastic news and we are grateful to our classmates who have made this possible so far. But we all need to join together now, not only to reach $100,000, but also to achieve our 50% participation goal. With just over 22% participation to date, we still need 112 gifts. Every gift counts, regardless of size. Of our classmates who have already made their gift, we thought you would be interested to know that:

One out of every three classmates have increased their gift.
Of those, three out of four have more than doubled their giving.
Close to 10% are new donors.

We hope that you will give serious consideration to your gift this year, and thank you in advance for doing what you can for Skidmore.
