I can emphatically say that our five-year reunion was a huge success. It was wonderful to see so many of you and learn about your travels, careers, and in many cases, upcoming nuptials. I think everyone in attendance would agree that despite being a bit older it felt like it always was. I have always believed that a sign of true friendship is the ability to overcome the obstacles of time and distance. Our reunion weekend was evidence that as a class we share that brand of friendship. That comfort is difficult to find. Those who were unable to attend were missed. You were asked for and in many cases a friend was able provide an update on your life. I would like to thank reunion co-chair Zack Aria, and the entire volunteer committee for their work over the past year. I would also like to recognize the office of Alumni Affairs and College Events who worked incredibly hard to insure that our five-year reunion would not disappoint. In addition to pulling off some great events, we set a new 5th Reunion giving record, raising $28,566 from 31% of our class.
If anyone has any digital pictures from the weekend (for public viewing) please send them to Nancy Magnus at magnusnancy@hotmail.com. We would like to get a slide show up on Shutterfly.com and will email the link out when it is ready.I hope you have a wonderful summer and I look forward to seeing you again soon. Sincerely,
