Meredith Eastman '94 joins the board after many years of serving as an admissions contact for prospective students in the Boston, MA, area and prior experience working for Skidmore's Office of Admissions shortly after graduation. Eastman left Skidmore with a B.A. in English and Spanish and earned a master's in educational counseling from Boston College. A longtime alumni mentor and class fund chair, she volunteered for her 5th reunion in 1999, is helping to plan her 10th Reunion in 2004, and is an active Boston Alumni Club volunteer.

Currently a guidance counselor at a public high school in Hingham, MA, Eastman admits that she "sometimes has to restrain herself from touting Skidmore" to her college-bound clientele but is always delighted to steer great students to her alma mater.
