Anthony Llano
'97
Vice President of Outreach
Term: 2007-2010
Tony Llano '97 reprises his role as Diversity Chair (2000-2003). A longtime supporter of Skidmore multicultural alumni networking efforts, the business and economics major served the alumni community as member-at-large prior to that.
As a student, he participated in crew and was an active student volunteer, assisting in career services, reunion, residential life and the Higher Education Opportunity Program's summer session.
Llano interned with JPMorganChase Bank for three consecutive summers, landing a management trainee position within Chase's consumer banking division upon graduation. He served as Assistant Vice President for Strategic Planning & Analysis, focusing on strategy and research. After earning an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Llano joined Deere & Company, completing the company's Strategic Management Program. Currently he is a Business Development manager for the Agricultural Division and recently coordinated the multimillion-dollar acquisition of the largest tractor company in Southern China.
In addition to his work on behalf of Skidmore, Llano is currently co-Head Agent of the Tuck School's Class of 2004 Tuck Annual Giving (TAG) Campaign.
Llano credits his experiences as a student at Skidmore to his dedication to volunteerism. He states, "My time at Skidmore affected me immensely, and I remain very emotionally attached to the place. I feel genuine satisfaction when I help others, and being a volunteer also helps me stay connected to Skidmore."
