Mark Bates '94 and his Partners at Main Street Resources Acquires
Midasco
Mark Bates and the other Partners of Main Street Resources (MSR)
successfully executed a management-led buyout of Midasco, which
provides installation and maintenance services for intelligent
transportation systems, highway signing, lighting and signal
categories in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S.
Main Street Resources, www.mainstreet-resources.com , is a private
equity firm comprised of entrepreneurs, executives and investors who
provide investment capital and resources to companies and individuals
with great potential.
Mark Bates, Partner, joined MSR from the Investment Banking practice
of Legg Mason. Previously, he was the head of the Financial Media
Relations department of Lippert/Heilshorn & Associates an MSR
investor. Mark received his MBA from The Wharton School after
receiving his BA from Skidmore.
