Danube River and Habsburg Empire

DanubeFrom the imposing monuments of Budapest and the Baroque treasures of Vienna to the storybook villages of the Wachau Valley, the Gothic spires of Prague and the medieval churches of Kraków, explore the legendary landmarks of the Habsburg Empire and Central Europe on this exclusive itinerary. Participants will enjoy accommodations at some of Central Europe's finest hotels and aboard the deluxe M.S. AMADEUS ROYAL while cruising the Danube River.

In addition, travel between Prague and Kraków aboard the elegant Majestic Imperator Train de Luxe, a detailed faithful reproduction of Emperor Franz Josef's imperial train. Throughout the program, expert guides will lead excursions and tours of Central Europe's most famous palaces, castles and cathedrals. We also invite you to join a special optional pre-program in Budapest, "the Queen of the Danube," and an optional post-program in Poland's historic capital of Warsaw. Both extensions include deluxe accommodations for two nights in centrally located deluxe hotels and specially arranged city tours led by expert guides.
