Steloff, Strock Lectures Upcoming

Two important activities on the academic calendar – the Frances Steloff Lecture and the Lester W. Strock Lecture in Geosciences – will take place on campus soon.

Mario Vargas Llosa will give the Steloff Lecture, which will be in the form of a reading of his works. Prior to the lecture, he will receive an honorary doctorate from Skidmore. In addition, he will participate in a public interview on writing – all scheduled Nov. 14 and 15. Click here for full article.

Charles Doolittle Walcott, a New York State native whose work as a scientist and in public service earned him acclaim, will be the topic of the Nov. 21 Lester W. Strock Lecture in Geosciences, to be given by Ellis L. Yochelson. For details, click here.
