  Health Care vs Sick Care: The Great Health Care Debate

Dr. Michael Quartararo will present and discuss the scientific basis, philosophical principles, and the differences between wellness care and sickness care, and why treating disease once you are sick is a different paradigm of health care than caring for your body when you are not sick. Attendees will gain knowledge to empower them in making choices that influence and support health and well-being.

Tang Exhibition: "Fred Tomaselli" February 6 - June 6, 2010 This survey shows the trajectory of Tomaselli's career, from early experiments with photography and collage to recent paintings and prints that combine abstraction with allusions to current events. Tomaselli's paintings explode in mesmerizing patterns that appear to grow organically across his compositions.

Everyday things from domestic items to urban architecture permeate the work of Havana-based duo Los Carpinteros. Marco Castillo and Dagoberto Rodriguez's exquisitely crafted sculptures and drawings twist these reco'nizable objects into surreal amalgamations-a bed in the shape of a roller coaster or a building with drawers for windows-that beg us to re-examine these ubiquitous objects and our relationship to them.
