Senior Family Project Brick Ceremony- A brief ceremony for seniors, families, and friends to dedicate the Class of 2010 brick pathway, given by the families of the Class of 2010 in honor of their graduating seniors. Each brick is engraved with the name of the student whose parents participate in the Senior Family Project.

Caffe Lena - 50th Anniverary Celebration
Time: 7:00 PM

Location: Arthur Zankel Music Center: Helen Filene Ladd Concert Hall

Caffe Lena, the legendary coffeehouse and music venue in Saratoga Springs, is about to celebrate its 50th anniversary, and to top off the festivities the Caffe and Skidmore College are joining forces to present singer-songwriter Arlo Guthrie in concert on Saturday, May 22. The event, also featuring Caffe Lena veterans Robin and Linda Williams and Their Fine Group, will take place in Skidmore's Arthur Zankel Music Center, beginning at 7 p.m.

Tang Exhibition: "Fred Tomaselli" February 6 - June 6, 2010 This survey shows the trajectory of Tomaselli's career, from early experiments with photography and collage to recent paintings and prints that combine abstraction with allusions to current events. Tomaselli's paintings explode in mesmerizing patterns that appear to grow organically across his compositions.

Everyday things from domestic items to urban architecture permeate the work of Havana-based duo Los Carpinteros. Marco Castillo and Dagoberto Rodriguez's exquisitely crafted sculptures and drawings twist these reco'nizable objects into surreal amalgamations-a bed in the shape of a roller coaster or a building with drawers for windows-that beg us to re-examine these ubiquitous objects and our relationship to them.
