Community Guide to Skidmore Resources
When Skidmore College built its new campus in the 1960s, board of trustees chair and acting president Josephine Young Case charged the architects to create a campus with "no walls or gates, for we want the world to enter." That philosophy continues to guide Skidmore today. We encourage members of the community to visit the campus, to participate in our many programs open to the public, and to enjoy the College's rich array of events and activities.
This guide is designed to provide an overview of Skidmore's resources for the community and to urge you to take full advantage of these resources. We hope this listing will increase your awareness of our many offerings and make it easier for you to find activities that match your interests and needs.
We hope you will visit us soon!
