Jessica is the technical assistant for both the theater and dance departments at Skidmore College. She serves as stage manager for the dance department, as well as the scenic charge artist for the theater department. She recently graduated from the University of Idaho with her BFA in technical theatre.
Jessica has been fortunate enough to work regionally across the pacific northwest, at theaters such as Schuler Performing Arts Center, the INB Performing Arts Center, Spokane Civic Theater, The Modern Theater, and Opera Coeur d’Alene, among others, in a variety of positions that range from stage management, scenic art/design and carpentry, to general technician work. During the summer, she can usually be found working with the Texas Shakespeare Festival in their paint department, as their assistant scenic charge artist.
Jessica is also an active member of USITT, the Stage Manager’s Association, as well
as the Guild of Scenic Artists, and strives to constantly learn and improve her crafts
through curiosity-driven dedication to her work. This is her first year working at
