Guidelines for Concentration in Theater

Guidelines for a Concentration in Theater within the Education Studies Major, Grades 1-6The Education and Theater Departments have approved the following guidelines for a concentration in Theater:

A core of six courses:

1. TH 103 – Introduction to Theater
2. TH 229 – Theater and Culture I
3. TH 230 – Theater and Culture II
4. TH 341 – History of American Theater
5. EN 215 – Drama
6. One production experience from the following:
   1. TH 129- Theater Production
   2. TH 130 – Introduction to Design
   3. TH 250 – Production Seminar

Students interested in exploring a major or minor in Theater rather than a concentration should consult with a member of the Theater Department.
