Skidmore Encore: A survey of liberal studies presentations
by Skidmore College faculty for adult learners

Tuesdays and Thursdays
October 6 - November 19, 2015

Thank you for a great season. We look forward to seeing you next year.

The annual lecture series formerly known as Survey of Liberal Studies for Mature Learners has a new name: Skidmore Encore. Skidmore Encore is a survey of liberal studies presentations by Skidmore College faculty for adult learners. For over 30 years, this program has been offered to adults age 55 and older from the local region. Skidmore College Faculty members will deliver a lively array of presentations on topics and themes that change weekly and cover a variety of disciplines during the seven-week program.

Participants have the choice to register for classes one day a week, Tuesday or Thursday.  Three lectures will be offered each day, and all classes will be held in Gannett Auditorium in Palamountain Hall.  The cost to participants with an annual income of $21,500 or more is $260.  Scholarships are available to those with an annual income of less than $21,500.  Morning coffee, lunch in the College's Dining Hall and a final reception are also included in the cost of the program.

Registration is limited to 175 participants each day. Registrations will be processed on a first-come/first-serve basis.  A final class schedule for 2015 will be provided to you at check-in.

If you are on the mailing list a registration email will be sent to your email address the morning of September 2, 2015 with a link to the online registration form.  If you would like to be included on the mailing list use our e-mail form.
