Below are organizations where ESS students have had local internships working on both land and wildlife conservation.
- American Farmland Trust: New York Office. If you are interested in working here, talk to someone from ESS about the internship offered by Saratoga office of ATF every semester and every summer.
- Saratoga County Soil and Water Conservation District. If you are interested in working here, talk to someone from ESS about summer internship opportunities.

For opportunities away from Skidmore, check with land trusts, zoos, local or regional chapters of national conservation organizations, or local preserves.
