2 SCOPE FALL 2018 Y E A R I N R E V I E W 2 0 1 8 Skidmore’s Saratoga Classic horse show, whose proceeds pro- vide major scholarship funding, celebrated the grand opening of its new, 103-acre venue, a farm in nearby Stillwater, N.Y., that was given to Skidmore by the estate of Robert R. Rosenheim. This summer’s participants and spectators enjoyed the state-of-the-art arenas, vast stabling and lush paddocks, reports the show’s executive director and Skidmore advancement officer Adele Einhorn ’80. “This competition venue is unlike any other in the region,” she says. “It’s absolutely beautiful, with ample room to ride and graze and turn out horses.
