Scheduling

Scribner Seminars are 4 credit courses, but they work a little differently than other courses. There is the main 3 hour class and a “floating” 4th credit hour for programming aimed at helping first-year students make a successful transition to college.  

You may choose to schedule the 4th hour as part of the Registrar's official class times (see the 4 credit options) or you may select a three credit option and schedule your 4th hour in the morning or evening at a time that is not an official class time (see 3 credit option). The choice is yours. Please select the option that works best for you and your plans for your class.  

FYE will send you a scheduling email in December to ask you for your top three choices. We realize this is early, but Scribner Seminars must be scheduled before departmentsschedule their regular courses.
