Shades of Gray 5

Tuesday February 21;7:00pm

Wednesday February 22; 5:00 pm

Please join us as the Honors Forum continues its tradition of exploring the "gray" areas of life in this fourth session of the Shades of Gray series. This semester's discussion is titled "Making the Grade" and will discuss grade inflation, grading equity between disciplines, and alternative grading. Is C really average? Is Skidmore too easy academically? What would happen if we eliminated grades? Do some departments grade more/less rigorously than others? Do you take classes and choose your major because you think it will be easy, or because you really love the subject? Does any of this matter? Join us, your peers and faculty in a lively discussion of all these topics and more!
