Semester: (circle one) FALL SPRING Year:

Please write a general overview of your proposed project:

What is your motivation for doing this project?

How will your project be intellectually rigorous?

Where will this project be done?

What community will benefit, and how?

Is this project related to a class you will be taking while you are completing your project? If so, how will this project go beyond the content and scope of that course? Recall that this project cannot be done for academic credit.

Provide a general timeline for the project, including an estimate of how many hours the project will take. Recall that you must complete 15 hours of work in one semester, including preparation.

Will your project require special funding? You are encouraged to apply for Student Opportunity Funds from the Dean of Studies. If you are requesting financial assistance from the Honors Forum, please indicate so here (for more information, click here).

Is there anything else you would like the committee to know about your project?

Please submit this form to the Linda Santagato, the Honors Forum Secretary, by Monday February 20 at 5PM for projects to be completed during the current semester.
