Wazir is completing his doctorate in Education in Higher Education Administration from the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Utah. His dissertation, “Changing the Way We Talk: Engaging in Dialogue Process; Hard Questions and Heart Answers- A Brotha’s Reflection of Teaching Social Justice Education,” reveals his training in Intergroup Dialogue. He has experience teaching IGR courses at the University of Utah, serving as the Coordinator for Diversity Education at the University of Utah - Housing & Residential Education (HRE) and as the Community Facilitator at the Community Living and Learning Center (CLLC) at George Washington University. At the University of Utah, he taught "Dialogue and Diversity through Group Process" and facilitated training for students working with diverse populations in the Master of Social Work Program. He holds a Master of Arts in Education (MA) and Human Resource Development (HRD) from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Temple University.
