The Children's Literature Collection, located
on the 3rd floor of the Lucy Scribner Library (SW corner),
houses juvenile literature and fiction. Its primary mission
is to support the Education Studies major and Early Childhood
minor programs of the Education department. Fiction materials
are divided into Picture Books and Novels and are shelved
alphabetically by author's last name. Non-fiction materials
are grouped by genre (Folklore, Biography, Science, etc.)
and are arranged by Dewey Decimal number. Children's Literature
materials may be borrowed for 21 days.
To locate specific titles, works by particular authors, or items on a specific topic, use
the library's online catalog
LUCY2.
For detailed instructions on searching for curriculum materials, please see the LUCY2
searching guide.
