Gifts of Speech: Women's Speeches from Around the World
Database
created by Liz Kent, Librarian, Cochran Library, Sweet Briar College
to preserve and create access to speeches by influential contemporary
women from around the world. Scope is primarily noteworthy living
women; secondary goal is the inclusion of speeches made since
1900. Upon request, some older material has been added. Searchable
by author or year, and by category, including Nobel Lectures and
Top 100 American Speeches of the 20th Century.
