Subletting a carrel without permission, occupying a carrel after library hours, or intentionally damaging a study carrel will result in immediate forfeiture of carrel privileges. Library materials may not be left in study carrels unless those materials have been checked out. Place library materials that you have not checked out on a shelving cart immediately after use. Carrels will be inspected periodically and any materials not checked out (including non-circulating books and journals) will be reshelved. Persistently leaving materials that have not been checked out in a study carrel may result in forfeiture of carrel privileges.
