Accreditation

The Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program operates under the auspicies of Skidmore's Office of the Dean of Special Programs and is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. It is fully authorized by and responsible to The College Faculty and is administered under the jurisdiction of the MALS steering committee, as delegated by the faculty-at-large. Skidmore’s program also holds full membership in the national Association of Graduate Liberal Studies Programs (AGLSP).
