How can I be on your mailing list in order to register?
If you would like to be placed on the mailing list, you may use the e-mail link on our website.
When will the mailing with the registration materials go out?
NEW FOR 2014 - Registration for the annual lecture series, Survey of Liberal Studies for Mature Learners, will open online on Wednesday, September 3rd at 9:00am. The new online application makes it easier than ever to register and pay online. You will receive immediate confirmation when you register online. Full payment is expected with your completed online registration application. Waiting lists will be developed when we reach capacity. If you do not have a way to register online or you do not have an email, please contact the Program Coordinator, Debbie Amico at 518-580-5596.
What is the cost of the program?
$255 for the full seven-week program (lunch at the Murray-Aikins Dining Hall is included). The cost is per person and there are no discounts for couples.
Can I pay with a credit card?
Our online application accepts all major credit cards, American Express, Visa and Mastercard, as well as online checks.
May I send my check in advance to hold my place and register when the mailing arrives?
No. In order to register for the program, you must complete the online registration form and payment in full is expected at the time of registration.
What is your refund policy?
If you need to cancel your registration please contact our office seven (7) days before the start date to receive a full refund. If a situation arises within 7 days prior to the start of the program, please contact our office at 518-580-5596 and the director will review the situation to determine if a refund can be granted and we will notify you accordingly.
Once the program begins, we cannot refund registration fees.
Before I sign up I would like a list of the lectures; will you send me one?
Because we must wait until the beginning of the semester to communicate with the faculty, the actual program of lectures is available just before the start of the program. If we are in a position to include the schedule with registration confirmations, we will do so. If not, the schedule may be posted to our website and it will definitely be distributed on the first day of the program.
If I cannot make all of the lectures, can a friend of mine come in my place?
You cannot substitute friends for yourself if you have to miss lectures. We must keep accurate track of who is attending the program for insurance and safety reasons. You must get the permission of the program staff before bringing an unregistered person to the program.
I’m unable to attend on my scheduled day, can I attend on the other day?
If, for unexpected reasons, you cannot attend on the day you are registered for, you may attend on the other day so that you do not miss the week’s lectures.
