Scholarship Sprint
Each May, we dedicate a day to demonstrating the importance of Skidmore Fund support to students and faculty. This May will be no different and promises to be bigger than ever.
Every 300 donors = $100,000 for scholarships
Beginning Friday, May 1, alumni, students, parents and friends of the College are invited to participate in the inaugural Skidmore Scholarship Sprint: For every 300 donors who make a gift during the month, Skidmore will receive $100,000 for scholarships—up to $1 million—thanks to an anonymous donor.
With more families needing financial aid each year, those funds will make a tremendous difference for students like James Stanitz ’15, an economics major from Ohio who says, “Thanks to your support, Skidmore has been a catalyst to success that this kid from Cleveland could not have even imagined.”
To follow the Sprint’s progress, visit the Alumni Facebook page. Be sure to “like” Scholarship Sprint posts for a chance to win Skidmore swag! And watch your inbox for opportunities to call in your gift and chat with faculty and staff like Robin Adams ’00, associate director of leadership activities, or Sheldon Solomon, professor of psychology.
Gifts of any size to any designation count in the Scholarship Sprint, so join the race by making your gift between May 1–31.
