SSCP topic: Farmers markets

November 17, 2015

The critical role of farmers' markets in a community was the topic of discussion when a group of students enrolled in the Skidmore-Saratoga Consulting Partnership met recently with two mayors.

Keldwin Taveras ’17, Jeb Clarke ’16, Nicole LoRusso ’17 and Kengthsagn Louis ’17 met former Mayor Ken Klotz and current Mayor Joanne Yepsen on a recent Satuday at the Saratoga Farmers Market to learn more about this vital resource. The students will present their findings to the market's board in December.

The farmers market is one of three clients under study this fall by SSCP students; the others are Brookhaven Golf Club and the Saratoga Preservation Foundation. For more information about the SSCP, please click here.
