Two Skidmore student musicians have qualified to compete in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) national conference this summer in Chicago.

Filene Scholar Katherine Krebs ’19 and Justin Gerard ’17 earned recognition at the regional NATS competition. Krebs placed third in the Freshman Women’s Division and Gerard was second in the Junior Men’s Division at an Art Song Festival sponsored by NATS. The regional division includes portions of upstate New York, New York City, and Pennsylvania.
