Skidmore art majors hold their Senior Thesis Exhibition each spring at the Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery—a capstone to their studies toward degrees in studio art. The Art Department offers courses in ceramics, design, drawing and painting, digital media, fiber, metals, photography, printmaking, and sculpture, and several students work in more than one medium.

The exhibition of 26 seniors' works is free and open to the public through May 21. Hours are Tuesday–Wednesday, May 17–18, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday, May 19, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, May 20, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, May 21, noon to 6 p.m.

The John P. Heins Outstanding Senior Thesis Exhibition Award went to Camilla Dahl Busby, and other senior-thesis honors went to Piers Pope Boyce and Elizabeth Stone. The full list of show participants is: Sophia Baraschi-Ehrlich, Erin Barry, Piers Pope Boyce, Camilla Dahl Busby, Zachary Collins, Juan Correa Cardoza, Marion Cox, Matthew Fenster, Rachelle Gage, Abbie Gibson, Emma Giles, Mercury Hogan, Lei Jin, Tuere Lawton, Elijah McCormack, Meghan Murray, Elsa Nilert, Alexandra Salerno, Emily Salk, Elissa Shea, Peter Spears, Elizabeth Stone, Sonya Thorne, Annika Voss, Carolyn Wolf, and Peter Zeitz.
