Calling Al Roker

March 1, 2017

Al Roker, of NBC's Today Show, is looking for college campuses to visit during his annual Rokerthon tour around the country this spring. Students were asked to submit videos showing their school spirit and proposing a world record they'd try to break.

Skidmore jumped at the chance and centered the pitch video on the dining hall's longstanding weekly fry festival, Chicken Finger Fridays. After a brief summary from the official Chicken Finger Chronicles, students invite Roker to come help them set a new world's record for eating chicken fingers.

The video was featured on WNYT news this week, and Skidmore is eagerly awaiting a decision from Roker and his NBC producers.
