On campus through June 24 to lead Skidmore's annual summer dance workshop, the acclaimed Stephen Petronio Company presents a public performance on Thursday, June 15, at 7:30 p.m. at Zankel Music Center. The show will include Petronio’s Untitled Touch as well as Merce Cunningham’s RainForest with visual design by Andy Warhol. Tickets may be ordered here.

The winner of Bessie and other major awards, Petronio is a leading American choreographer, blending new music, visual art and fashion in works that have appeared all over the world. At Skidmore he and visual artist Janine Antoni are this year’s McCormack Visiting Artists and co-creators of the Tang Museum’s Entangle exhibition.

The Thursday dance concert is co-sponsored by the Stewart’s Signature Series, bringing top-flight performers to Skidmore during the summer of 2017.
