Kelly Harkins ’04 won an award from the American Association of Anthropological Genetics for her research presentation on pre-Columbian tuberculosis. With a PhD in bioarcheology, she is a National Science Foundation fellow UC-Santa Cruz.
Erik Johnson ’92 was named athletics director of the Savannah Country Day School in Savannah, Ga. He’ll move from his current post as AD at Sayre School in Lexington, Ky., where he also coached boys’ and girls’ lacrosse for the past 12 years. He also holds a chiropractic degree. [more]
Liz Sweet Dowling ’82 blogs about creative, affordable home redesign. Her “Wrye Home” recently earned a “best of service” badge from Houzz, an online community and retailer for home improvers. A veteran interior-design consultant, she has also opened her own boutique marketing firm.
Joel Keener ’76 is an art professor at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, where he developed the BS curriculum in graphic design and is now shaping an MFA in game modeling and design. His award-winning art in several mediums has been shown at the United Nations, Egypt’s Cairo Opera House, and elsewhere.
