Abbie Gibson '16 premiered her large-scale equine paintings at the Dog & Horse Fine Art & Portraiture Gallery in Charleston, S.C., in July. The show was part of a benefit for local schools and
museums. A reviewer called her works "evocative and powerful."
The Ladles
Singer-songwriters Katie Martucci '16, Caroline Kuhn '16, and Lucia Purpura-Pontoniere '16—known around the Boston folk scene as the Ladles—were at Saratoga's Caffè Lena last week, opening for their mentor, John Kirk of Quickstep,
to help kick off his latest CD release. The Ladles' three-part harmony, with "skilled acoustic riffs" on fiddle, banjo, and guitar, can be heard here.

Ryan Basile '08 has been cited by popular wedding planner The Knot for the "exquisite and 100% customized designs" he uses in crafting invitations and
wedding stationery. The founder of Double Trip Press, Basile has had Skidmore customers too, including newlyweds-to-be Sara Lacy '08, Collin Burger '08, and Adrian Negenborn '08.

Tim Peck
Tim Peck '04 released his second album of original compositions, Rivulets, and was a summer composer-in-residence at le Moulin à Nef in Auvillar, France. On Oct. 22 he'll perform with Andy Tyson '03, Julia Chalfin '04, and Lisa Piccirillo '04 at Rockwood Music Hall in New York City. Weekdays, the pianist and composer teaches
at the Pomfret School.
Brian Parker
Brian Parker '82 has followed his passion for architectural history since graduation, when he purchased
several historic brownstones in Albany, N.Y. He and brother Kevin, owners of the Orion
restoration business, have been preserving the city's past, including two of the oldest Dutch colonial buildings in the region.
