Skidmore's theater productions offer students good experience on stage and behind the scenes. Saratoga Shakespeare's also offer points toward professional Equity membership.
The Saratoga Shakespeare Company will perform the play through July 23 in Congress Park. Lary Opitz, professor and chair of Skidmore's Theater Department, plays the central role of Shylock. Four Skidmore students and two alumni also have roles.
