- He may be an actor but his message is no act. Performance artist 'Rev. Billy' brings his anti-consumerist, pro-environmental message to Skidmore's Case Center Sunday, April 15.

- Christopher Lynn Hedges will discuss "The Empire of Illusion?is us" at 7 p.m. Oct. 14. The lecture is part of a yearlong series that considers the material and spiritual costs of war. Admission is free.
- Jason Blue Lake Hawk Martinez is the first artist to be featured in the new series of events, coordinated Rick Chrisman, director of religious and spiritual life, to consider the spiritual costs of America's wars. An opening reception is planned Sept. 21.
