- A Hillel-sponsored talk by a Palestinian Muslim is among the guest lectures on campus soon.
- Growing up with a tailor and lots of well-told stories, Sonya Clark became a fiber artist praised for "her sensitive, boldly imaginative eye." She'll speak on campus Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 6 p.m. at the Tang Museum.
- The Schick Art Gallery, current home of the "Craft Matters" exhibition, will be closed for just part of the holiday period. The gallery will be open on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 29 and 30.
- Work by 19 renowned artists in ceramics, wood, glass, fiber, and metals featured in "Craft Matters," opening Nov. 7.
