Tshediso (Joe) Matake '15 is spending the summer in South Africa, offering a computer literacy boot camp funded by a Davis Projects for Peace grant.- Students are invited to wage peace with the support of a $10,000 grant from the Davis Projects for Peace Foundation. - With help from a foundation that supports grassroots peace efforts, Wissam Khaleefah '11 returned home to rebuild his elementary school. The facility is located in Fallujah, Iraq, site of some of the fiercest battles of the U.S.-Iraq conflict. A current campus photo exhibition documents his efforts.
